Payment for Lessons

Your place on a surf course will only be confirmed once we receive payment:

  • Our account number is 12-3075-0237030-00, if you need the account name it is UP SURF LIMITED and the swift code is ASBBNZ2A
  • If making payment from an overseas bank account we recommend wise.com or similar as the transfer fees are lower than normal banks. Please ensure that you cover the transaction fees so that the full amount reaches our account.
  • If you can’t do the payment online and need to bring cash, please let us know at time of booking so that we can still confirm your spot.

It is $300 per person for the 3 day course, $400 for the 5 day course, and $600 for the fast track course.

Meeting Place for Lessons

We will be in touch via email about 3 days before your first lesson to advise you of the start time based on the forecast, and who your coach will be.

Ngarunui beach, Raglan is where we do the lessons. To get to the beach, drive from Raglan township on Wainui Rd for about 8 minutes, then turn right on to Ngarunui Beach Rd and follow the road up the hill, straight through the little round-a-bout and down the hill until you arrive in the big carpark.

It can be crazy busy in summer so allow plenty of time as you may need to park a few minutes walk from the meeting place.

If you don’t have transport let us know in advance and we may be able to pick you up from the centre of Raglan if we have enough room in the car!

Your coach will meet you to the left of the changing room building that is on the side of the carpark – Don’t walk down to the beach itself. We will likely be parked on the grass beside the bus stop, slightly to the left of the X in the picture below…

What to Bring

Your usual swimming wear for underneath your wetsuit, sunscreen, a bottle of water to have on the beach and footwear as the black sand can be REALLY HOT in summer!
